CommentsProblematic cell line: Probably misclassified. It is dubious that this cell line originates from an African American 47 year old patient diagnosed with an ovarian clear cell adenocarcinoma. Immunohistochemical and qPCR analysis as well as its mutational profile support an ovarian serous adenocarcinoma origin (PubMed=25049276; DOI=10.26502/ogr072). Furthermore its genome ancestry clearly shows a Caucasian/European decent (PubMed=30894373) which is confirmed by mtDNA haplotyping (DOI=10.26502/ogr072).
